And if someone could warn Giuliani, why then weren't the firemen in the towers informed? And why did he later deny that he knew the towers were going to come down?

Silverstein, the owner of the WTC complex, stated WTC7 was "pulled". So it had to be pre-rigged for the executed controlled demolition. He later said that the phrases "Maybe the smartest thing to do is to pull it" and "and they made that decision to pull" were about pulling the firemen from the building. Only problem with this is that all firemen had already been taken out of the building at 11.00 am that morning. For some reason the unexplainable collapse of WTC7 was completely left out of the 911 commission report.
